Each booking includes 90 minutes of setup time before your event start time, giving you plenty of time to decorate and prepare the room | Each hire includes private function room, dedicated bar, and background music system.All times are approximate and may vary depending on the event, guest behaviour, or policy breaches.

🧾 Step 5: Booking Confirmation & Payment Details
💰 Deposits & Payments

£100 deposit required to secure date.

Remaining balance due 28 days before event.

Payment by cash (preferred) or card at the venue.
📅 Setup & Clear Down
All bookings include 90 minutes setup time before start.
The room must be fully cleared by the stated end time (no later than 11:55 pm for evening events).
Cleaning is handled by The Abbey after your event; however, booking form details may be used to recover costs for any damage deemed excessive.
🚫 Cancellations & Refunds
£100 deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations within 28 days of the event may be charged in full.
🕒 Event Timings & Policies
Event times are approximate and may change based on guest behaviour or policy breaches.
The Abbey reserves the right to restrict bar service or end an event early if required.
Additional Policies:

Challenge 25 applies to all alcohol sales.

Zero tolerance on drug use or the smell of cannabis.

Noise controlled by in-house limiter due to residential area.

Respect Everyone Policy — staff decisions are final.
